Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are often politically active, including giving speeches on climate change and raising money for organizations that help women and girls. Now, the couple shares a significant new plan on her Archewell site aimed at helping American citizens vote.
“Vote Now!” read the headline of their article, which included a picture of an Archewell water bottle with a “voted” sticker on the front. The article then includes a plan of action for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which includes texting the royal couple’s organization.

The message read, “The Archwell Foundation believes in the importance of civic engagement, no matter who you vote for. Your vote matters because it affects your friends, family and community. We all have a voice. We have, and this is one of the key ways we use it to shape our future.”
This post was shared on the Archewell site on October 28th, and they added to the date: Some states have already started early voting programs, and many will soon. “

At the end of the article, they gave readers an action statement, saying, “Plan to text ARCHEWELL on 26797 to vote by November 8th and receive reminders for all upcoming elections.” said. (Don’t get too excited, though, because we don’t think you’ll be able to exchange personal texts with the royal couple.)
Voting is very important to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and this isn’t the first time the couple have motivated their followers to get out and do their civic duties.

Back in September 2020, when the U.S. presidential election was held, the royal pair filmed a video from their backyard (on a bench, I might add) to encourage people to vote.
“Every four years, they say the same thing, ‘This is the most important election of our lifetime.’ But this is it,” Markle said. “When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Your voice is a reminder that you matter. Because you are, and you deserve to be heard.”
