Wealthy Americans are spending up to $1 million to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at a glitzy New York gala.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be presented with the award at the Ripple of Hope Gala on December 6th.
Hosted by Kelly Kennedy, niece of President John F. Kennedy, the gala will cost a cool $1 million and will include four seats at the top table, where the Duke and Duchess are expected to be seated. I have the “Pioneer” package.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle (photographed in New York last year) were named Ripple of Hope Award recipients for their work through the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Organization’s (RFKHR) Ashwell Foundation.
The Gala is organized by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation, named after President Kennedy’s brother who was assassinated in 1968.
Past Ripple of Hope Award winners include US President Joe Biden, former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, and former Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Al Gore.
The decision to give Meghan and Harry the highest human rights award has baffled Kennedy historians.
Professor David Nassau, author of the Pulitzer Prize-nominated book The Patriarch about JFK and RFK’s father, Joseph Kennedy, said: Ridiculous.

The gala will be hosted by Kelly Kennedy, niece of President John F. Kennedy. She is her seventh of Ethel and Robert F. Kennedy’s children and runs the RFK human rights organization.
“If you look at past Robert Kennedy winners, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi. [Speaker of the US House of Representatives]Bishop Desmond Tutu – And I have to ask what Harry and Meghan are doing here?
“What have they done in the name of God to deserve this? What percentage of Harry and Meghan’s wealth will go to worthy causes?”
Professor Nassau said Joe, patriarch of the Kennedy family and a staunch Irish Catholic, will return to his grave to see his family branch “sticking to the British royal family.” He said he would.
Mail on Sunday will reportedly capture Meghan and Harry as they attend the VIP event and are introduced to the event’s biggest donors by a team of photographers.
A source said, “At previous events, photographers at VIP receptions would make sure to take pictures of big donors with celebrity guests and winners. If so, I want a photo for bragging rights.
