Eastvale, CA (KABC) — Three men were arrested Sunday night on suspicion of stealing packages near an Amazon fulfillment center in Eastvale, authorities said.

When deputies arrived, they found a Toyota sedan with boxes inside fleeing the scene, the statement said. A traffic stop was attempted and the vehicle was slow to stop but eventually yielded on the highway.
Investigators said three men were detained and a number of items were recovered from the vehicle. Their identities have not been revealed.
“A search of the fence line was conducted and the fence leading to the business on Block 5200 of Goodman Way was cut to allow freeway access from the business,” the news release said. It was confirmed that it had been placed near a highway for later pickup.”
The parcel will be returned to the stolen company, the sheriff’s department said.
