The secret of its softness lies in the fabric. They are woven with double brushed microfiber. This is a flashy representation of a polyester fiber that has been smoothed on both sides. (Have you ever touched a sheet that is scratched on one side? It could be because of the printed pattern, or because it is only brushed on one side.)
The threads in Melanni sheets are actually so tightly woven that dirt does not penetrate easily and they are also durable. And, like me, the fabric is pretty wrinkle-resistant, even if you leave it in the dryer for a while before changing the bedding. Linen. It looks classy, but it won’t cost you a fortune if you need to replace it along the way.

Each Melanni set comes with two types of shams: a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. And although the set is missing mine, favorite A feature I’ve ever seen in bedding—tags that indicate ‘length’ and ‘shortness’ so no fumbling to readjust—it has another ‘why don’t all fitted sheets have this? Features: Elastic all around the seat, not just the corners. Plus, the regular fitted sheet is deep enough for a 16-inch high bed, making it perfect for a plush mattress or a soft mattress topper. (The company also recently released his sheets with extra-deep pockets that fit mattresses up to 21 inches thick.) On my queen bed he had a 3-inch mattress and his pads. Even the regular sheets slipped off easily. .
But they are not ideal for hot sleepers
For all the advantages of tightly woven polyester fibers mentioned above, there is one drawback. It’s not as breathable as cotton, so it’ll keep you warm and comfortable in the winter, but you might wake up with night sweats in the middle of summer. If you’re prone to hot sleepers, it’s a good idea to change your sheets during the warmer months (or stick with a cool comforter).
It took me a while to finally try Melani’s, but I’m glad I did. At just $36 a sheet, you can’t beat the durability and softness of these sheets.
