“Textile inks on the recalled clothing sets contain lead levels that exceed either the Federal Lead Paint Ban or the Federal Lead Ban, and pose a risk of lead poisoning. It is toxic if ingested and can cause health problems,” the CPSC said.
In an Instagram post, Ventex urged customers who purchased the clothing to immediately separate the clothing from their children, stop wearing it, and contact the company.
