Pink gave a glimpse into her protective parenting style after revealing that her 11-year-old daughter Willow is the only kid in her class who doesn’t have a cell phone.
Appearing on an American Radio Show Greg T and Carolina at the morning showthe singer said she wouldn’t let her preteen child have a phone until she could “prove” that social media was good for her.
“My kids don’t have phones. My daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class who doesn’t have a phone,” said the mother of two.
“It’s hard. A lot of my friends are raising their kids on TikTok, but I’m not.”

The pop star, whose real name is Alecia Beth Hart, said Willow is different from some of her friends because she is the daughter of a celebrity.
“She has a lot of eyes on her,” said the 43-year-old songstress.

“I told her silently, ‘If you can produce literature from reputable sources that tell me that social media is good for you, then you can be on board with it. Otherwise, good luck.’ I will,” she said.
“She could be a lawyer, she could literally go through bars. She’s always right.”
