I read Lev Schneiderman’s letter to the editor on Wednesday. In it he wrote about “moving on” from Donald Trump. He said Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would “restore energy independence, protect our porous borders, eliminate unnecessary government regulations, uphold Second Amendment rights, and create cleaner air.” We aim wisely to restore the economy and make it affordable for all again.” Mr. Trump has already done all this.
Trump has also created a business-friendly environment, lowered taxes, and created the best jobs for all Americans. He achieved a peace treaty in the Middle East, something no previous five presidents have done. He moved the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, wiped out ISIS, kept our troops safe in Afghanistan, and began direct dialogue with North Korean leaders.
He did all this while some media outlets lied and Democrats and liberals attacked on social media, including two impeachments and a Russian collusion hoax. I could go on and on with every obstacle in his way to fail, but did he? No, he focused on what matters to most Americans. I kept doing it.
Yes, Mr. Trump has an ego. we all do. But I cared less about his ego and other negativity the media dreams of. It’s just a question of whether to I agree that Governor DeSantis will one day be a presidential candidate, but not in 2024. We need Mr. Trump.
