I have loved books since I can remember. Junie B. Jones was my icon in kindergarten and helped me develop both vocabulary and tricks. Still, my book collection is huge, and my greatest ambition is to one day own an entire library complete with his one of those sliding ladders (eventually my own Assuming you have the funds to buy a house). Despite this, I buy books almost as often as I buy clothes, and surprisingly I have never used an e-reader at all.A paper copy has always been of great value to me, and I never thought a screen could beat it.After reviewing Amazon’s latest Kindle(opens in new tab), we can say that the device has many perks, such as reading in the dark (and one-handed reading). At just $99, I now consider this not a replacement, but a great addition to our ever-growing library.
new kindle model(opens in new tab) Compact and lightweight, with twice the storage capacity of conventional models. It also has the longest battery life of any model, lasting up to 6 weeks. The image resolution is 300ppi, the same as the Kindle Paperwhite, but at a fraction of the cost. Released in 2022 is the 11th generation of the Kindle basic model, which has some differences compared to the 10th generation released in 2019.

Setting up the phone has never been so easy
The Kindle was relatively easy to set up. I just pressed the power button until the screen lit up and it asked me to choose a language and region. Then I was given the option to set it up on my Kindle device or my phone via the Kindle app. At first my phone wouldn’t connect to the Kindle, but after I connected the phone to the charger it worked fine. Then I made sure my phone was on the same WiFi network as my Kindle and my Amazon account was transferred to my Kindle. It has a “kid-friendly” setting. This seemed like a good option for a parent to have during setup. My library then popped up on the device immediately, and the Kindle walked me through a quick user tutorial. I have also reset the device and tried the “Set up with Kindle” option. This actually didn’t take long as I just needed to log into Amazon instead of using my phone and going through the extra steps.
Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition review: The upgrade is worth the money
A first-class reading experience
As soon as it was set up, I downloaded Jeannette McCurdy’s memoirs i’m glad your mom diedIt has been in the top 10 for several weeks and is backordered as a result. With a Kindle, I knew I could read without having to wait or search for it at the store. To download the book, all I had to do was click on the Kindle store icon and search. Next, since your Amazon account is already linked to your device,[購入]Click to download it to your library and start reading. The download was super fast and I started reading before it finished downloading.

With Kindle e-books, you can read without waiting for bestsellers to sell out.

I have to admit, I was glued to my couch reading for the next few hours. Even when I was ready to go to bed, I carried my Kindle around and continued reading. At night, the light in my room is a pink LED lamp, and there is very little light for reading. Normally my eyes are too tired to read for long periods of time, but the Kindle light made it easy. After adjusting the brightness and switching to night mode, I experienced very little eye strain after hours (seriously, I couldn’t put this book down). In low light, you can feel how much better your eyes are than your phone. Blue light can cause severe eye strain.
As you read a book on your Kindle, you’ll see a percentage at the bottom of the page showing how much of the book you’ve read. For some reason, I think this is what motivates me to keep reading. It went up by 1% every few pages (depending on the book) and I wanted to keep going. If I was 72 percent I would think ok, lower it to 75%Did you know that some people need their TV volume to be even or by 5? I am currently reading the third book on my Kindle.I also read Drew Barrymore’s memoir wildflower A best-selling fantasy novel is almost complete coat of thorns and roses By Sarah J. Mass.
What makes this Kindle the best Bezos has to offer?
2022 release compared to previous versions of Kindle(opens in new tab) The smallest and lightest model ever. At just 158 grams, it’s lighter than my iPhone, so I can comfortably read with one hand for long periods of time. It also has a screen diagonal of 6 inches, making it the smallest screen available for a Kindle. I really like the size of the device. Very easy to carry and fits in many small purses.

The 2022 Kindle screen has a resolution of 300ppi, while the 2019 Kindle models only have a resolution of 167ppi. Remember that the cover and photos of the book are very clearly visible, but they are always in black and white to maintain the “paper and ink” aesthetic. Most are not suitable for photo books. It also comes with 16 GB of storage instead of 8 GB, so you can download more to your library at once. So far I’ve downloaded 5-6 books to my library and haven’t had any storage issues. I’m curious how many books I can download at once (probably thousands). The battery in this device will last for a while. With a full charge, he read two and a half books over the course of about three weeks before the device’s battery reached 10% and prompted him to recharge. I think Amazon’s “6 weeks battery life” claim is a bit of an exaggeration. 3 weeks is still a long time considering how much I’ve used it.

she is kind to the earth
I am very proud of Amazon for this. According to the website, the new model is made from 90% recycled magnesium. We also use 75% recycled plastic in the black model and 30% recycled plastic in the denim model. Comes in a biodegradable paper package that reduces plastic waste. In fact, Amazon has a program dedicated to recycling old Kindle models, offering Amazon gift cards and discounts on new Kindle devices in return. For a company with a high carbon footprint, it’s great to use old materials to make new Kindles and give customers an incentive to return old ones.
Why are e-books so expensive?
Amazon offers Kindle Unlimited(opens in new tab), for $9.99 per month, get access to over 3 million books on your Kindle. New Kindle users can try the service for free for three months. But Kindle Unlimited didn’t have anything I wanted to read. There were some books by authors I knew, but Kindle Unlimited’s selection seems to be for people who can read anything. I am not that person. Here is a list of his next 15 books that you always want to read on your deck. Most of all, I wish Amazon had some sort of deal that would allow me to purchase the print and Kindle editions together. That way, I could own the print edition while using my Kindle for nighttime reading and travel. My book-collecting habits are against me on this one. I wouldn’t spend $15 on a Kindle copy of a book I already own on paper.
Is the New Amazon Kindle Worth It?
If you’re looking for a basic e-reader, this one has everything you need.Meanwhile, some of Amazon’s other releases such as Kindle Scribe(opens in new tab) or Kindle Oasis(opens in new tab), comes with bells and whistles and caters to specific audiences.basic kindle(opens in new tab) If your goal is to read for fun, that’s really all you need. Comes with pixel resolution. This review is from the perspective of someone who has never owned an e-reader, so I’m not sure how valuable these upgrades are to those who own previous versions. If you’re a book fanatic like me, I highly recommend adding it to your collection. For just $99, I’ve read more books than I’ve read in months.
