I did. I finally did.
It’s been a good week.
That’s the only way I can explain a week where I went 7-0 on Best Bet, 8-7 against the spread on Expert Picks and 11-4 on Straights as part of the Pick Six Podcast.
That is correct. My best bet was undefeated, baby.
Other areas were not so good, but progress was made. Thanks to a 7-0 record, his best betting record for the year is now 27-20. His ATS record is now 58-61-4, and his straight-up record is 68-54-1.
For once, there is no doom and gloom. The hard part here is starting over.
I think 2 weeks in a row is fine. Are you ready?

Featured game | | Houston Texans vs Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are undefeated and playing at a high level. The Texans haven’t played anywhere near that. But this is a short week that can challenge the road team. The real challenge in the short week is getting the team ready for the Eagles offense. That’s the difference here. Jalen Hurts continues to do well.
Choose: Eagles 33, Texans 13
Sunday 1pm (Fox, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Atlanta Falcons v Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers are done with their byes and need to start the passing game. There were no downfield throws. They’re back for the Chargers with this one.The Falcons have surprised them by leading the NFC South this season. They’ll run it all day with the Chargers, but I think Justin Herbert ultimately made the passing game big.
Choose: Chargers 34, Falcons 26
Sunday 1pm (CBS, Paramount+)
Featured game | | Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins
This is the Dolphins’ second consecutive outing against the NFC North team. They beat the Lions last week and threw them across the field. It’s not as fast as a truck, so it slows you down. But I think the passing game is too much for the Bears. Dolphins take it.
Choose: dolphin 30 bear 20
Sunday 1pm (Fox, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Cincinnati Bengals vs. Carolina Panthers
The Bengals looked bad in a loss on the road to the Browns on Monday night. The Panthers are playing road games back-to-back, which is no easy feat. They’re playing better with PJ Walker at quarterback and I think their defense, especially up front, keeps them in this position.
Choose: Bengals 26, Panthers 20
Sunday 1pm (Fox, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Detroit Lions v Green Bay Packers
In fact, the Packers brought their offense to life last week against the Bills, which is a good sign. The Lions defense might be the perfect tonic to really motivate them.Detroit can score on offense, so this could be a higher scoring game. Give me Aaron Rodgers to finally put out some numbers and win.
Choose: Packers 31, Lions 27
Sunday 1pm (CBS, Paramount+)
Featured game | | Jacksonville Jaguars vs Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are playing their second consecutive road game, but the Jaguars are back at home after losing to the Broncos in London. The Raiders scored no points in a loss to the Saints. This is a concern. Trevor Lawrence’s underperformance is also a concern for Jacksonville. I think this will change. Jaguars win.
Choose: Jaguar 24, Raider 20
Sunday 1pm (CBS, Paramount+)
Featured game | | New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts
The Patriots beat the Jets away last week, and the Colts lost to Washington in Sam Ehringer’s first start. The Colts haven’t been great offensively all season, no matter who’s playing quarterback. But they showed some signs of life last week. , I think we will win on defense. It’s close.
Choose: Patriots 21 Colts 17
Buffalo Bills (-13) with New York Jets
Sunday 1pm (CBS, Paramount+)
Featured game | | New York Jets vs. Buffalo Bills
The Jets suffered a crushing loss to the Patriots, who had a terrible offense. Zach Wilson has to resume play. Bills can roll up big numbers in the offense they do against the Jets defense. The Jets can’t keep up. Buffalo keeps it going.
Choose: Bills 37, Jets 23
Sunday 1pm (Fox, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Washington Commanders vs. Minnesota Vikings
It’s a big game all of a sudden, as the commanders have won three in a row. The Vikings have won five in a row. Minnesota isn’t blowing teams, but they’re finding a way. The Commanders’ defense has gotten better lately, and I expect that to happen here as well. Commander upsets it a little.
Choose: Commander 27, Viking 26
Sunday 4:05 pm (Fox, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are number one in the NFC West and are getting there with excellent offense as their defense improves. Arizona has a strong offense, but their defense struggles. I think it’s going to be a high-scoring game, but I think Seattle’s offense will win.
Choose: Seahawks 30, Cardinals 28
Sunday 4:25 p.m. (CBS, Paramount +)
Featured game | | Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Los Angeles Rams
This seemed like the game of the week when the schedule came out. It’s finally a survival test. Both teams are struggling. Which one can be reversed? Go with Bucs. They’re at home and the offense isn’t as struggling as the Rams. Tom Brady wins.
Choose: Bucks 24, Rams 17
Sunday 8:20 p.m. (NBC, FuboTV)
Featured game | | Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tennessee Titans
It’s the game of the week and it pits Derrick Henry against Patrick Mahomes. Runner vs passer. Passers-by, please. The Titans are playing his second straight road game, but the Chiefs are on a bye and Andy Reid his coach stands out by a bye. This is a huge advantage for Kansas City, but Henry will keep the team.
Choose: Chiefs 31, Titans 21
Monday, 8:15 PM ET (ESPN, FuboTV)
Featured game | | New Orleans Saints vs. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are resting after playing in Tampa Bay last Thursday. They ran the ball over his 200 yards in the game, which doesn’t happen against this Saints defense. Expect the New Orleans defense to continue to play well after shutting out the Raiders last week.
Choose: Saints 26, Ravens 20
