Prince Harry was ‘always suspicious’ of palace staff who ‘prioritized’ Prince William, royal expert says

Prince Harry was allegedly “paranoid” about Buckingham Palace staff when he first started dating Meghan Markle.

This claim was made by Valentine Law, a royal author who has written a new book entitled Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown. He claimed that he was “obsessed with the media.”

Kinsey Schofield, a royal expert and host of the podcast “To Di For,” told Fox News Digital that Charles III’s youngest son, in his capacity as heir to the throne, “will always have the palace staff. Harry, 38, is fifth in line to the throne and has been dubbed a “spare” by the press. His older brother Prince William is the first, followed by his three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

“Ever since Harry was a teenager, it has been said that the palace prioritized Prince William’s reputation over Prince Harry,” Scofield explained. There is a story about a newspaper that called the Palace communications team. I don’t know how often. The operation was carried out, but I heard from a former employee that something like this happened.Of course, the palace will do everything in its power to protect the heir.

“Princes and princesses of Wales are the future and the priority,” Schofield said, referring to William and wife Kate Middleton.

Harry was wary of the palace staff, but his concerns are said to have heightened after he married Markle. She became the Duchess of Sussex when she married Mr.

“I think it’s more important that Prince Harry, who grew up with a mother who insisted that her sons should be treated equally, lost an advocate,” Schofield said. “Prince Harry had relatively trouble-free years leading up to his relationship with Meghan Markle. His bad boy days are behind him, and he’s handsome to Prince William and his wife at the royal engagement. I was accepting my role as a stupid third wheel.”

“There were times when we had conflicts with the staff, but for the most part Harry’s team was very hilarious and enjoyed working with him,” she continued. It concerned Prince Harry wanting to pursue the same campaign he was in. Prince William took precedence.I think the staff were very surprised at how assertive Meghan Markle was… “Soon. There was no honeymoon period… But behind the scenes, Harry was taking his frustrations out on Meghan, and now she’s here to steer the ship.”

Just days before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in 2021, a former aide accused Markle of bullying. The Times of London reported allegations that the Duchess kicked out her two personal secretaries, leaving her staff feeling “humiliated”. As someone who has herself been the target of bullying and is deeply committed to helping those who have experienced pain and trauma, I am saddened by this recent attack on her character.”

In June of this year, palace officials announced that details of the independent review investigating the allegations remained private.

In 2020, the couple announced they were stepping down as senior members of the royal family. They live in California with their two children. But Schofield suspects Markle is gearing up for her latest big role: The couple signed a deal with Spotify and her Netflix.

“I think Meghan’s next big goal is to become a spokesperson for a luxury beauty brand,” Schofield said. Use those books to brand yourself as a thought leader. The whispers about political ambitions have subsided. But if she finds the right mentor…that’s the path she continues to pursue. .”

“Prince Harry is completely happy working behind the scenes,” she added.

Law claims in his book that Harry administered “loyalty tests” to his employees to make sure he was protected.

“It was a constant test of loyalty. ‘Are you going to protect me? Or are you going to be one of them who won’t fight for me?’ It was exhausting,” Low wrote. I’m here. “His mistrust of courtiers in other houses, his constant loyalty testing of his own staff: all of this existed even before Meghan arrived on the scene.”

“But things are going to get significantly worse after she shows up,” Mr Low continued, claiming that the palace staff who worked with the couple called themselves the “Sussex Survival Club”. .

In August, Markle told The Cut that “just existing” had “disrupted the hierarchy dynamic” when she and Harry were in the UK. Between her, the British royal family and her own family.

“I think it’s really important to forgive. It takes more energy not to forgive,” she said. “But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve been trying really hard, especially knowing that I can say anything.”
