In a Netflix documentary about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duchess’ friend Lucy Fraser says their visit to Australia was life-changing.
She said Meghan and Harry were very popular with the public.
In episode 4 of the documentary, Prince Harry said, “The problem is, when someone is married and they should be in a supporting role, they’re in the spotlight or doing a better job than the person who was born to do this. It upsets people and shifts the balance.The only way your charity will be successful and your reputation will grow or improve is if you are on the front page of those newspapers. Because we have been led to believe that it is.
In the episode, Harry and Meghan were invited to breakfast at Buckingham Palace, and Meghan was on the front page of The Telegraph that morning. I felt the same way.
