Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have received renewed backlash after being nominated for the Ripple of Hope Award.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under fire from royal biographer Angela Levin for soon accepting the Ripple of Hope Award to be awarded at a gala in the United States hosted by the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation for Human Rights. .
According to the organization, the couple will be awarded for their work “facilitating the global dialogue on mental health, helping Afghan refugees in the United States, and investing in Ukrainian aid organizations.”
Levin told the Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan’s philanthropic credentials were “compelling fantasies.”
