Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will claim they were bullied by palace officials on their new Netflix show, a source told Page Six.
A dramatic trailer for the docuseries ‘Harry & Meghan’ was released Thursday — right in the middle of the Prince and Princess of Wales’ visit to the United States.
In a promotional moment, 41-year-old Markle is seen holding her head and crying.
“Harry and Meghan discuss how they felt their best interests were not represented by the Palace, and about being victims of the Palace’s media machine.
A Hollywood insider said, “Harry and Meghan will claim they were bullied by the palace. It suggests.”
Markle may even hint at allegations that she herself was a bully while working for the royal family, according to Page Six.
The former ‘Suits’ actress was accused of ‘always trying to get somebody in sight’ after she kicked out her two personal assistants from Kensington Palace in October 2018. She denied her allegations.
The allegations were leaked to The British Times days before the couple’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired in March 2021.
Buckingham Palace has initiated a review and, as a result, changed its internal personnel policy. But officials say the findings remain confidential.
As previously reported, ‘Harry and Meghan’ opens Thursday. Page Six is said to have three episodes of his, followed by another three of his on December 15th.
While it received a lot of backlash about the timing of the trailer’s release, which overshadowed Prince and the Princess of Wales’ visit to Boston, a source told Page Six that Harry and Markle should release the teaser sooner. But Netflix executives have decided to release it on Thursday.
Another source said, “It was not intentional and it was not directed at the Prince and Princess of Wales. That is the truth.”
However, one royal insider told Page Six that he was baffled that the trailer contained a photo of a frosty-looking Princess Kate. On the same day, the second batch of Netflix episodes will be released.
There is the sound of breaking glass as the photo of Markle in tears cuts to a shot of her sister-in-law.
An insider said: she has nothing to do. ”
Sussex’s rep was absent, but a Kensington Palace spokesperson said after the trailer’s release:
“Our focus is meeting communities and locals across Boston.”
