Australian commentator Andrew Bolt has taken a brutal rant, claiming that Prince Harry’s decision to title his book reveals the Duke’s jealousy of his brother Prince William and his children. Prince George , Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will inherit their father’s title and role, relegating Prince Harry to fifth in line of succession.
The Sky News Australia host said on his opinion show The Bolt Report: all right.
“That’s just a green monster, just jealousy.
“Well, Harry’s book is called Spare, like heir, and Spare, like his work in life.” Like his entire existence was a spare royal family, in case he couldn’t… the next king.
“And Harry stepped into the void, but of course William has a son, a daughter, and another son, so we don’t need Harry anymore.”
Bolt argued that Prince William’s three children lowered Prince Harry down the royal hierarchy, making his chances of ascending to the throne very slim.
“And while he seems to have a big problem with being something of a spare tire in the trunk of a royal car, he was never really destined to be road rubber.
He also suggested translating the title of the memoir into a foreign language would better encapsulate Prince Harry’s state of mind.
The moderator added: “Check the title of the book in other countries. Heir, the preliminary lines are not fully translated. In Spanish, the book is called Life in the Shadows.”
