Is this an invitation to a family event, or a well-brokered business deal? It’s getting harder and harder to tell as the requests are causing confusion.
Marie Claire recently reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to the coronation, but it remains unclear whether they will attend. Sunthe couple has issued a new request to confirm their attendance: First, they hope to include their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet (so far, we recently reportedthey were not invited), and they said that all four Sussex families would appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family after the coronation on 6 May at Westminster Abbey. (For reference, during the Platinum Jubilee last summer, Harry and Meghan were in attendance but didn’t show up on the Buckingham Palace balcony reserved for royal workers. (Harry and Meghan stepped down from these duties in January 2020. Just in case I forgot.)
“The palace is trying to get the negotiations over as soon as possible because they can’t go to the wire fence right away,” a source said. OK“It could be confusing. It will very likely end in a stalemate and they won’t attend. But the Palace is doing everything in its power to prevent that from happening.”
May 6 also happens to be Archie’s fourth birthday, a source said. Even if it’s her birthday wish. ”
daily express Harry and Meghan are “refusing to accept invitations to historic events until their demands have been agreed,” it reports.
Will the palace be upset?
