Friends of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in London have whispered that the former royals have complained of being snubbed and abused at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

They both whined that their families weren’t as welcoming as they should have been.

Harry is currently in Los Angeles rewriting the final chapter of his autobiography to include palace intrigues during his trip to England for his grandmother’s funeral.

According to insiders, Penguin Random House paid more than $15 million for his article and wants to include news that scandalously makes headlines. Members of the royal family hope Harry doesn’t attack his family as callous racist, as Meghan did during an Oprah interview.

The long-awaited book’s publication date has been pushed back as Harry adds new chapters and makes additional changes.

Insiders fear the book will bury any reconciliation between Harry, Meghan, and the royal family.

Dorothy Carvello’s novel debut, The Circle Broken, exposes the sordid corruption of the music business.

Carvello, who wrote the poignant memoir Anything for A Hit: An A&R Woman’s Surviving the Music Industry, said fiction is difficult.

“I didn’t expect it to be this hard,” she told me.

One of the protagonists of her story is an Australian rocker known as INXS lead singer Michael Hutchence, who died in a Sydney hotel room in 1997.

Hutchence, 37, hanged himself.

“The music business takes beautiful people like Michael in, consumes their creativity, and spits it out,” Carvello said. “Money is obscene and drives people to obscene behavior.”

However, Carvello believes that Hutchence suffered brain damage during a fight with model Helena Christensen during a visit to Denmark in 1992, and the man forced him into hitting his head on the cobblestones.

“He lost his sense of taste and smell and was stripped of his identity,” Calvello said. “I witnessed my friend’s decline. His behavior was very erratic and he used drugs.”

Hutchence once told Carvello:

After he died, a major label executive told her, “He’s worth more dead than alive.”

“Fans just see the outer shell, the rock star bouncing around on stage in the spotlight,” said Calvello, who is represented by Adam Crommy.

“They have no idea what will happen when rock stars get back on the bus and will have to deal with an industry that is heartless, cruel and solely focused on profit.”

Steven Seagal is still a huge Vladimir Putin fan and celebrated the Russian dictator’s birthday on Twitter.

Born in Michigan, the former action hero has spent more and more time in Russia and even Donbass, the Ukrainian territory illegally annexed by Russia.

Seagal has been accused of sexual harassment by various Hollywood actresses. “There is no such thing as sexual harassment in Russia, so he has to enjoy his time there,” said one source.

Art collector heiress Libby Mughrabi has become something of a hoot at London’s most posh private club, Annabelle’s.

Libby was dressed head-to-toe in Balenciaga and a white trucker hat of her own design with an octopus logo encrusted with real diamonds.

Annabelle’s staff were stunned by the designer’s street-chic chapeau and asked Libby to take off her unique $25,000 hat.

Libbie was shocked when a recent haute couture show in Paris was full of baseball hats. Balenciaga pairs his baseball cap with his prom dress, and Leonardo his DiCaprio wears a baseball cap and goes everywhere.

Ever woman, Libby took off her hat and headed out for a dinner to celebrate the success of the Fashion in Motion show with South African designer Thebe Maggu at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Among Annabelle’s regulars are Naomi Campbell and Rihanna.
