King Charles III celebrated his first birthday as monarch, turning 74 on Monday and was warmly welcomed by his loved ones and fans.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other senior royals have also sent touching tributes on the king’s big day, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share sweet words with him or save future projects. It is not yet clear whether they are reluctant to do so.
Sharing a lovely photo of Britain’s new King, the Prince and Princess of Wales tweeted: “Happy Birthday to His Majesty the King!”
However, Charles’ second son Harry, whose book seems to have chipped away at his father’s credibility, seems to have no sweet words for the monarch.
