Nearly two years ago on March 7, 2021 – Oprah Winfrey has permanently joined the royal conversation, especially when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.That day was, of course, the airing of a famous/infamous (you decide) TV special Oprah, Meghan and Harry, since then she has been closely associated with the couple. (To be fair, she knew Sussex long before March 2021. She was also present at the wedding in May 2018.)
Well, the conversation continues and Oprah’s best friend Gayle King asks the media mogul CBS Morning This week, Harry and Meghan share her thoughts on whether or not they should attend King Charles’ coronation at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6.
“Harry and Meghan have reportedly received an invitation to the coronation,” said King himself at Meghan’s baby shower in 2019. people“Do you think they should go? Do you think they shouldn’t go? Anything you want to comment on?”
What was Oprah’s reaction? “I think you should do what you think is best for yourself and her family,” she said. “I think so. That’s the bottom line. I mean, what do you think would be best for you?”
She added with a smile: “They didn’t listen to me.”
