A thief, wearing an Amazon delivery vest, sneaked into a Queens building and assaulted an employee as he stole a bag-filled arm from the lobby in broad daylight, police said.
At approximately 10:18 a.m. on November 9, an impudent crook raided a building near 44th and 74th Streets and was caught on surveillance footage carrying several boxes away from a common area. police said Wednesday.
The suspect also entered the building’s garage, where he confronted a 49-year-old employee.
A crook allegedly punched a worker in the face, leading to an altercation between the two men.
Investigators said the brawl ended when the parcel thieves fled on foot north on Seventh Avenue toward Woodside Avenue with several boxes, investigators said.
The NYPD released details of the crime on Wednesday and asked the public for help in identifying suspects.

A construction worker suffered minor injuries, but refused treatment on site.
Police did not immediately have information on the total amount of property stolen from the building.
The suspect is described as a 5 foot 10 man with dark hair. He was fugitive as of Thursday.
