The Princeton student, who was initially considered missing, was later found dead on the university campus and died of suicide, the Mercer County Attorney’s Office said in a news release Wednesday.
An official autopsy performed by the Middlesex District Coroner’s Office on Mizrach Uneti ruled her death a suicide and announced her cause of death as “toxicity caused by bupropion, escitalopram and hydroxyzine”.
The body of 20-year-old Younety was found behind a tennis court on the Princeton University grounds in October. She was last seen near her New Jersey campus residence around 3:00 a.m. on October 14. The university reported her missing on October 16, and her body was found on October 20.
When she was discovered, Youneti’s eldest brother, Universe Youneti, described her sister as a “precious and beautiful soul”, “an excellent listener” and “a person who cares about everyone but her”.
