A man leading police chase in a stolen Amazon delivery van was stopped Sunday afternoon when he reached a dead end.
Richard Royer, 40, of Concord, climbed into the van as it was making a delivery on Fruit Street in Concord around 2:45 p.m., NH State Police said. Working with Amazon troopers, he was able to track the van to Interstate 93. Royair refused to stop to find the Troopers at Hooksett and continued in Manchester. Police surrounded the van as it stalled on Elm Street, according to police.
Royea was treated for minor injuries at Concord Hospital. The trooper was treated and released with minor injuries.
Royra continued to refuse to comply with police orders and was arrested by State Police K-9 Ragnar. He was charged with receiving stolen goods, resisting arrest/detention, aggravated drunk driving, reckless driving disobeying police officers, and driving without a license.
