Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has criticized the Democrats, saying that the “only hope” for the party to win in 2024 is the arrest of former President Donald Trump.
Republican agitators attacked Democrats amid claims Trump would be arrested Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of hush money made by Trump.
Trump is being investigated by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for allegedly paying adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
Prosecutors believe the payment to Daniels violated campaign finance laws. Mr Trump has denied having an affair with Mr Daniels.
Boebert, an outspoken supporter of Trump, took to Twitter to lash out at Democrats, especially 2016 candidate Hillary Clinton.
“It’s ridiculous that Hillary Clinton and others are walking around ignoring the world while President Trump is being shoved down into hell on earth.
“The Democrats know they can’t beat our ideas at the 2024 ballot box, so we see this as their only hope.
“We live in really dangerous times.”
Boubert didn’t explain the reference to Clinton, but the candidate who lost in 2016 is the object of hatred for many Republicans.
Clinton, who has not been charged with a felony or misdemeanor, used a private email server for official public correspondence.
Republicans also blame the former secretary of state for the September 11, 2012 attack on a US government facility in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans.
Since being shared on Saturday, March 18, Boebert’s post has garnered more than 1 million views and garnered 31,200 likes.

Boebert is one of many Republicans who jumped to Trump’s defense after he said he would be arrested.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told the chairman of the Republican Committee on Saturday to open an investigation into possible indictments of the former president.
McCarthy tweeted on Saturday.
Even Mr. Trump’s rivals were outraged by the potential indictment, with former Vice President Mike Pence comparing it to the Robert Mueller investigation, which was branded a hoax.
He told Breitbart News on Saturday: What we have endured in the age of Russian hoaxes and phone impeachments. ”
Newsweek I’ve emailed Boebert representatives for comment.
