Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided they want their children (Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis) to live as normal a life as possible given their far from normal circumstances. , was part behind their decision to move home in 2022, and now Kate’s heartwarming Mother’s Day post captures the royal family’s departure from the more traditional style of parenting.
It’s Mother’s Day in the UK and an opportunity for the royal family to send heartfelt messages to mothers, wives, grandmothers and other maternal figures.
Fans absolutely love the relaxed, carefree and sunny photos of the Princess of Wales that capture the joys of childhood playing in the sun.
Kate posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ official social media pages to share an unreleased photo of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis climbing a tree with their outdoorsy mom.
The family (minus their father, Prince William) can be seen in one of the photos of them sitting together in a tree in their summer clothes.
The second photo offers a moving shot of quality time with Kate and her youngest son, Prince Louis.
In the photo, Kate wears a simple white blouse and blue jeans, brandishing little Louis in her arms.
The caption below the post read, “From our family to yours, Happy Mother’s Day.”

Fans were quick to share their love for the laid-back photos of the royals climbing trees, joking, “Now that’s what they call a family tree.”
Another wrote, “What a lovely family! You guys are so lucky to have each other! Dear Princess, and to your wonderful children, Happy Mother’s Day.”
Another comment was particularly impressive, as someone wrote.
This is perhaps the subtle message Kate is sending by moving away from more traditional photography.
Known for loving the outdoors and pursuing hobbies such as photography, Kate has moved away from the expectations of royal life to explore different facets of life and give her children the same opportunity to be simple children. I raised my voice to ask for it.
After all, this was the main reason for their big move out of London.
In 2022, Prince William, Kate and their children moved into Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom home on the grounds of Windsor Castle in Berkshire, about 25 miles from London.
A royal family source at the time told the media that the move would allow William and Kate to be “active parents in a busy school.”
“They want to be as normal a family as possible,” the source added.
Climbing trees, hopping in the sun and swinging around in mom’s arms is their new normal.
