“The Democrats were fine today, despite probably losing the House and possibly losing the Senate,” Jimmy Kimmel said in a big post-midterm monologue Wednesday night. “‘Great news! I didn’t get hit as badly as everyone expected!'”
The late-night host characterized the current result as “more of a purple naple than a red wave,” adding, “Last night America twisted Donald Trump’s chubby little nipples into a balloon animal.” Added.
Later, the host accuses Trump of being “furious” with Dr. Mehmet Oz for losing the Senate election, especially in Pennsylvania, and even accusing his wife, Melania, of advising him to endorse the candidate. I laughed alone while telling the report.according to New York Times’ Maggie Haberman Trump called it “not her best decision.”
“Maybe her second worst decision,” Kimmel joked. “Trump is so angry with Melania that they no longer sleep in separate beds.”
From there, Kimmel shared an extended montage of pundits on both sides of the aisle calling Trump the “biggest loser” of the midterm elections. sometimes said “His candidate has been equally successful as Trump Airlines, Trump Steak and Trump University.”
