Last week, Jimmy Kimmel said in an interview that he lost half his fan base for chasing Donald Trump on a late-night show and threatened to quit when ABC urged him to tone down.
Well, it looks like Trump got wind of the comments and used them to chase the host down during “one of his blue-collar comedy tours.”
The former president told an audience at a rally in Pennsylvania that Kimmel’s show is “virtually dead” because his supporters don’t watch it. I did,” Trump said. “Show is dead and other shows are dead.”
“Yeah, our show is dead,” Kimmel countered with a laugh, showing just how brutal his jokes about former presidents actually are. And he plans to bury it next to his ex-wife on one of his golf courses.”
“Do you know what died?” he asked. “I’ll tell you what died. The endangered animal your jawless son shot. That’s what died.”
“Do you know what died?” added Kimmel. “The look in a wife’s eyes when begging her for sex on her birthday.”
“And in January our show will be on for 20 years,” he continued. Screaming in the club toilet.”
