Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s eldest son, Archie, has already seen a lot of the world, from living in Montecito, California, to visiting family homes in Canada and the UK, but he and sister Lilibet have barely grown up. It seems… in a completely different and exotic location.

The Sussexes finally decided to settle in central California in July 2020, but shortly after stepping away from royal duties in March of that year, Africa played a key role in the couple’s relationship. It remains close to them to this day.
In addition to Botswana serving as the pair’s milestone location, Meghan was the first to realize that Prince Harry had “found his soulmate,” and they were “camping with each other under the stars.” It was between ‘-the continent is also home to the charity Harry co-founded an organization called Sentebale which aims to help African children suffering from poverty, HIV/AIDS and inequality.
