    Tuesday was the second day of a three-day strike call to protest against the Iranian regime, an action intended to neutralize the government and intensify the protest movement.

    People in many cities across Iran kept shops closed for a second day on Tuesday before rushing to the streets to hold protest rallies. Many stores and small businesses did not open their doors to express solidarity with the ongoing protests.

    During the day, rallies and sit-ins took place on many university campuses across the country, with students at Tehran’s Sharif University booing the capital’s mayor Alireza Zakhani over his remarks about blaming foreign countries for the uprising in Iran. did.

    Security forces went door to door in market streets and bazaars and sprayed pro-regime slogans on the doors of striking shops. Some people on social media said their store markings resembled the actions of the Nazis in his Germany where security forces marked Jewish stores.

    Despite threats by security forces, the shopkeeper closed their doors on Tuesday Many states including Tehran, South and West Azarbaijan, Ardebil, Kerman, Zanjan, Isfahan, Kordestan, Kermanshah, and several other states have played a role in overthrowing the cleric rulers.

    As the sun set on Tuesday, people in several parts of the capital Tehran set fire to trash bins and blocked streets, chanting anti-government slogans. The city was also the scene of protests, with people chanting slogans against the regime.

    People in many cities held memorial services on the 40th day after the deaths of loved ones who died during the protests. People in Kurdish-majority cities such as Mahabad, Baneh, and in the northern cities of He Amol and BandarAnzali held rallies and chanted slogans against the Islamic Republic. A memorial service was held for at least six of his protesters who were killed by government forces, leading to a protest.

    Also on December 30, a memorial service was held in his hometown of Bandar Anzali for 27-year-old Mehran Samak, who was celebrating the US soccer team’s game against Iran. Northern Gilan province. There are unconfirmed reports that the city police chief has been arrested over the death of Mehran Samak.

    Iranian Youth, a coalition of grassroots groups, called for demonstrations on the road leading to Azadi (Freedom) Square in the capital Tehran on Wednesday.
