A delegation representing the Iranian Supreme Court of Audit and the Korean Audit Commission met on the sidelines of the 24th International Conference of Supreme Auditing Bodies (INCOSAI) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The delegation signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the auditing bodies of Iran and South Korea.
This document contains a plan to define and facilitate cooperation and interaction between Tehran and Seoul in government auditing, as well as experience and appropriate scientific guidance on auditing various public finance areas, particularly information technology and environmental practices. A plan for sharing methods is included.
Iran’s Supreme Audit Court Chief Mehrdad Bazrpash met with officials from Russia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Djibouti and Tanzania during the event.
The 24th International Congress of Supreme Auditing Bodies will be held in Rio de Janeiro from November 7th to 11th.
The conference will be guided by two main themes: ‘Premier Auditing Bodies’ Efforts in the Face of Public Disasters’ and ‘Global Voices, Global Consequences and Widespread Impact’.
The International Council of Supreme Auditing Bodies (INCOSAI) is the supreme body of the International Organization of Supreme Auditing Bodies (INTOSAI). It brings together approximately 800 full, associate and affiliate members of the organization for the purpose of making strategic decisions. At INCOSAI, participants from over 120 countries discuss key issues facing the public auditing community and their potential solutions.
