The Islamic Republic has arrested a number of foreign tourists who took pictures from ongoing protests in Iran.
The president of the Iranian Tourist Guides Association said on Monday that those detained were taking pictures “out of curiosity”.

He made the comments at a meeting of several lawmakers with tourism activists in Tehran on Sunday.
