Fox Business host Stuart Barney suggested on livestream to Lara Trump that her father-in-law Donald Trump’s 2024 candidacy announcement is missing some of the “old magic.”
“I have to say last night’s speech wasn’t very well received,” Bernie told Lara Trump, who is married to the former president’s son Eric Trump, on Wednesday.

Fox News contributor Lara Trump said she, predictably, “very” disagrees with that opinion. I felt like I was doing the campaign all over again,” she replied.
However, conservative critics denounced Trump’s speech as “low energy” and attendees were reportedly blocked from leaving the event in Maralago until he had finished speaking.
Bernie said Donald Trump could win the Republican nomination, but not the general election, and said Lara Trump would provide “a better trajectory for their lives.”
