This week marks the beginning of the FHSAA state championships, with four of the nine Florida high school football classes crowing their state champions starting Thursday (December 8) and continuing through Saturday.
Classes 1R, 1S, 1M and 2S will play their state title games this week. Classes 3S, 4S, 2M, 3M and 4M will play their championship games next week.
