2022 Week 10 Fantasy Football Sleepers
π¨Cautionπ¨ These are sleepers. They will never copy my ranking 100%. This is upside and often comes with more risk.
quarterback
Possible start: Daniel Jones, NYG β Jones had his worst game of the season, but it was against a mean and decent defense (the Seahawks). With his week off to reset and plan a matchup against the Texans, Jones should reboundβ¦ well, mostly for the matchup, and not much Jones’ passing ability. With his three games of 68+ rushing yards and his two games of 20+ points with his rushing touchdowns (or two), it’s Jones’ feet that elevate his fantasy value. is. Hopefully Jones doesn’t choke like he did in Week 8.
run back
Startability: Rachaad White, TB β Reports suggest the Buccaneers could lean more on White as the season draws to a close and could start this week against the Seahawks. The Seahawks’ defense against receivers is better than expected However, the Seahawks were very much impacted by their pass-catching running backs, as Austin Ekeler wiped them out on the 12-12-96-1 line, Alvin Kamara had a 6-6-91 reception, and Javonte Williams had. It is easier to receive. In Week 1 he went 12-11-65-0 and James put up 5-5-19 in last week’s comeback even with Conor.
Hail Mary Start: Isiah Pacheco, KC β As I said on the podcast, I don’t want anything to do with the Chiefs, Broncos, Rams, Bills backfield… if possible. will likely need to be used and can aim for Pacheco’s advantage this time around. The backfield is a true committee, with Jerick McKinnon beating the others, but Pacheco has more runs (no pun intended) with the healthy lead the Chiefs should have over the Jaguars. not).
wide receiver
Probably started: DeAndre Carter, LAC β Josh Palmer’s advice works, so let’s get back to Carter this week. He was a good option in Week 9, but in theory he has more advantages against the 49ers regardless of what he looks like. The 49ers are near the top of the league with him being allowed 20+ yards of receiving. Some of them, of course, he only went to Cooper Kupp, but even the Panthers had four such receives in Week 5. Despite playing mostly outside the slot, his 10.4 Air/TGT and his 20.8% of his receptions account for his 20+ yards. It’s quite possible that Carter will come out wide and not be the flop.
Possible Starts: Wandale Robinson, NYG β From Weeks 6 to 8, Robinson tied with Darius Slayton in the team’s target percentage (17.6) and was one of three players to catch a touchdown, while also having the most receptions (17.6). 11) have 3-2-15-0 his down His game is over (thanks Daniel Jones). It’s the previous two games he hopes to emulate, as the matchup is favorable (the Texans) unless the Giants get too big too quickly and run out of time.
Hale Merry Start: Donovan Peoples-Jones, CLE β Strangely, Amari Cooper is dominant at home and struggles a bit on the road where DPJ has emerged. The Browns at home he’s a 3-for-5 load he’s playing the game, but the Peoples he’s Jones away he’s 20-13-215 and at home he’s 26-17-202. The Browns also head to Miami in a shootout and what they can expect in his second game of Brissett, Jacoby, who has over 40 pass attempts this year.
tight end
Hale Merry Start: Cade Otton, TB β Even if Cameron Brate returns, we’d bet on Otton, who is #3 on the team in TmTGT% from week 4 onwards (Brate played in weeks 4 and 6). Otton also has a 30-22-242-1 line as he is second in the red zone and end zone targets during this stretch. Where it really helps is against the Seahawks. No opponent on tight end at least he couldn’t score 5.2 points β TJ Hockenson destroyed them in Week 4, Zach Ertz posted his 5-40-1 great last week, and Tanner for the Giants Even on the Hudson he managed 3-58-0.
Have fun with the rankings!
best football party food
I’m back on food this week and have a great appetite battling this flu…or whatever it is. After all, it’s the middle of the NFL season right now, so let’s dig in… rank… and have some great meals. I always love trying new foods/snacks.
- pizza β Why have a football party if you don’t have pizza?
- buffalo chicken dip β I can only assume that this is the taste of the streets of heaven. I have to divide it into plates.
- wings β ranks higher if it weren’t for the constant need for napkins/wipes. The Louisiana flavor is my go-to (Wingstop or my own).
- slider βit’s really a category of its own, but whether it’s burgers, barbecue, chicken, etc., these are a must, especially for their ease of eating compared to full-sized burgers.
- soft pretzel β I may be crazy, but I love soft pretzels β giant pretzel βlogsβ that everyone shares, chews, or eats pretzels entirely, with everything from salt to cinnamon sugar. There are so many variations of things.
- buffalo chicken roll β Something like a spring roll (size and structure) but with buffalo chicken in it. Easy to make, eat, love.
- chips β Utz over Rays!
- blanket pig β Did you know that the plural is pig blankets? That’s so cute?
- mac and cheese β easy sides, very tasty, you can add different spins.
- tacos/layer dip/nachos β it could be argued that this should rank higher, and I won’t argue too much, but the buffalo chicken dip is far superior.
Bonus: Monkey Bread β If you’ve never had one (maybe you didn’t realize that’s what it was called), be sure to try it next time. Like chicken wings, you’ll need to clean your hands afterwards, but this is heavenly cloud flavor.
buying and selling
buy
- Justin Herbert, QB, LAC β I’m far from a Herbert apologist, but he doesn’t have a full arsenal this year.If Keenan Allen and/or Mike Williams can come back, the Chargers have a middling schedule. I have. Herbert still has many advantages.
- Michael Carter, RB, NYJ β Yes, we’ll split the backfield, but the schedule is good and managers might think of ‘selling high’ out of a good game.
- Gus Edwards, RB, BAL β Bye Ravens, Edwards is the lead when he’s healthy and should be back in Week 11.
- Courtland Sutton, WR, DEN β I was here last week after Jerry Jeudy had a bad stretch earlier in the year. And now Sutton is in his midst. has dropped him completely.
- Dionte Johnson, WR, PIT β Again last week, the departure of Chase Claypool narrowed Kenny Pickett’s passing tree, and Johnson’s volume was already high anyway.
- Michael Pittman, WR, IND β Quarterback Sam Ehringer cares, but Pitman remains in WR3 conversations with the likes of other boom/bust options like Gabriel Davis.
- Pat Freiermuth, TE, PIT β Like Johnson, Freielmousse benefits from Claypool being out of the equation.
sell
- Justin Fields, QB, CHI β Described Fields ROS athletic fantasy football In the pod, he’s getting closer to the top five QBs, but some already have him in the top five. I would still take Tua Tagovailoa, if others in your league consider him better than Joe Burrow/Kyler Murray etc., even if he did Fields continue this, you has the highest profit.
- Joe Mixon, RB, CIN β More than just Week 9 touchdowns, the Bengals have one of the worst schedules for a running back in the fantasy playoffs.
- Josh Jacobs, RB, LV β While it may be difficult to sell Jacobs at this point, it could be argued that it’s only a rough run for the Raiders. In fact, starting in Week 14, his Week 17 schedule isn’t going well and the Raiders could start looking to his 2023.
- Tyler Boyd, WR, CIN β Sounds obvious, but there are plenty of leagues with inexperienced managers who might prey on Ja’Marr Chase.
- Darnell Mooney, WR, CHI β Fields took quite a few shots with Claypool in his first game against the Bears. would greatly undermine his value.
