While he may have been the Prince of the Palace’s Resident Party in his youth, the Duke of Sussex has since grown to be a devoted husband and father who is actively involved in many charitable causes.
Prince Harry, the son of Charles III and Princess Diana, is currently fifth in line to the British throne. The ginger-haired royal grew up with his older brother Prince William at his house in Kensington Palace in London and Highgrove in Gloucestershire. He attended prestigious Eton College from his 1998 to 2003, after which he took a gap year. At the time, he traveled to Australia to work as a Jackaroo, then visited Lesotho, where he made a documentary called Forgotten Kingdom Raise awareness about AIDS and poverty in developing countries.
In 2005, Prince Harry began his military career by enrolling at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and receiving officer training. By the following year he was commissioned as cornet for the Blues and Royals, and in 2008 he was promoted to Lieutenant. The Duke served in the army during his ten years, leading his two tours to Afghanistan with the British Army. And in 2014, he founded the Invictus Games, an international sporting event for injured veterans and military personnel.
It was in 2016 that the Duke met his future wife. suit Actress Meghan Markle. The couple dated for over a year before getting engaged in November 2017. Then, on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, she said “I do.” The happy couple currently has her two children Archie her Mountbatten-Windsor born May 2019 and Lilibet her Mountbatten-Windsor born June 2021.
A year before their daughter was born, the Duke and Duchess surprised royal fans by announcing that they were stepping down from their royal duties. Since then, however, the royal couple has lived with her family in Santa Barbara, keeping busy with charity projects and her creative media ventures.
