Former US President Donald Trump has said he launched the NFT collection because he liked the artwork, saying it was cute, and didn’t see NFTs as an investment.
In an interview with One America News, Trump said: So they showed me the art. ”
“It’s kind of like comic book art when you think about it, but they showed me the art,” Trump said.
When asked why he chose to release NFTs when the entire cryptocurrency market was in decline, Trump said, “I didn’t see it as an investment. I saw it. It was – I thought they were cute. For $99 you get these very beautiful and interesting visions, I used to look at it more like that than an NFT.
The former US president further stated: They figured it would sell in his six months. Sold in 6 hours. ”
