Since returning to the campaign this summer, Fetterman has repeatedly discussed the problems he had with auditory processing. He has had to rely on closed captions in conducting his interviews with multiple news outlets, and utilized the captioning system during his only debate with Republican opponent Mehmet Oz last month.
The Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania determined that his doctor was fit enough to run for the Senate and fully competent to serve if elected.
