donald trumphis son Eric Trump and former counselor Hope Hicks has completed depositions in a lawsuit accusing the former president and his family of promoting a pyramid scheme, new court filings show.
“We are pleased to report that the parties have completed all factual depositions,” lawyers for both parties wrote in a letter to a federal magistrate on Friday, adding that the parties had not yet completed their depositions. Three of them are Trump and Hicks in particular.
The lawsuit, filed in 2018, alleges that the Trump Corporation facilitated a multi-level marketing scheme, also known as a pyramid scheme, through its company ACN Opportunity, LLC, which operates under the name American Communications Network. .
Fearing reprisals, the plaintiffs initially filed the lawsuit anonymously, pointing to the then-President’s pattern of attacking legal opponents. They have since gone public in an amended complaint that reads: Catherine McCoy, Millard Williams, Marcus Fraser When Lynn ChadwickWilliams is no longer a plaintiff, and Trump wants Williams fired on November 8.
They characterized ACN as a “get rich quick” scheme promoted by Trump and his family celebrity apprenticeship. Plaintiff has one more deposition to pursue.

Trump and Eric Trump, plaintiffs have issued one additional deposition subpoena to former employees of the Trump Corporation (the deposition will last three hours. We have filed a pre-petition letter requesting permission to provide a

“On behalf of my brave client, I am delighted to have completed the discovery of this important case regarding the fraudulent promotion of Donald Trump’s decade-long multi-level marketing scheme to unsuspecting working-class Americans. “I look forward to expediting expert discovery and class certification so that we can move forward to a trial of merit as soon as possible,” Kaplan wrote in an email.
