A royal expert has called on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to strip them of their titles ahead of the release of Prince Harry’s memoir.
Starring Tom Bauer good morning england On Monday (October 31) with fellow royal expert Dr. Tessa Dunlop and presenters Susannah Reed and Ed Boles.
When asked what new information to expect from Harry’s memoir spareto be released in January, Bauer claimed the Oprah Winfrey interview was “extremely damaging” to the British royal family.
He also claimed that Harry and Meghan Markle made their fortunes “only by hurting and destroying the royal family to promote their property, their fame and their brand.”
“I don’t think they should be allowed to call themselves dukes or duchesses. The only way they can be weakened and less important in America is to say, ‘Well, you If you’re thinking of us, this is our family, this is Britain, we don’t need to hold titles anymore.”
“After all, they trade their titles and always flaunt themselves as Duke and Duchess and Prince to make money. So they want to make money by destroying Britain.” Then why should they be recognized as dukes and duchesses?”
Author: Dunlop Elizabeth and Philipclaimed that Bauer’s comments were hypocritical.
“Harry, he’s had a pretty rough life in his youth. During that time, you’ve been sitting in your little position, behind the controversial ‘misfortune’ or ‘fortune’, depending on how the coin spins.” is scraping it from. said Dunlop.
“Definitely they’ve brought the royal family to an entire young audience. Young people on TikTok are talking about Harry and Meghan. They care about them. Yes, they don’t belong in that family anymore.” Yep, they took a lot of sun-drenched photos and dropped their royal regalia, they’re a different generation than your Tom.
Dunlop says stripping Harry and Meghan’s titles would make Britain look ‘mean and insane’ and one of our ‘most important institutions’ to ‘deal with a little internal criticism’ It should be possible, he added.
“by the way, [the then-] Prince Charles criticized his parents,” Dunlop added. “This has been done over and over again. A monarchy should take those blows if it has the great potential it claims.”
King Charles famously criticized his parents in his 1994 biography of Jonathan Dimbry. prince of walesin which he said the Queen was a “distant mother” and was “forced” to marry Diana by Prince Philip.
The debate has received mixed reactions on social media, with some agreeing that Harry and Meghan should keep their titles, while others say they should be stripped of them.
“Once you leave an organization that has a position, a company car, and all the expenses, you don’t think you can keep the perks of that job,” said one person.
Others said they were “disgusted” with people “chasing” Meghan and Harry.
