RetailMeNot’s Cash Back Day event returns on Thursday, allowing consumers to earn money while shopping at over 2,500 leading retailers.
Against the backdrop of an uncertain economic environment and painfully high inflation, the fourth annual 48-hour event is planned to ease the financial strain on shoppers during the holiday shopping season.
The company said it was aware of the “significant impact” of inflation on its budget and that it had a double cashback offer this year.
“RetailMeNot puts cash back in shoppers’ pockets to alleviate some of the challenges they face this season. It’s a great time to enjoy your savings at , and we’ll be back to buy more later,” Kristin McGrath, shopping expert at RetailMeNot, said in a statement.

Starting November 4th, shoppers can find up to 20% cash back offers from Amazon, Lowe’s, Macy’s, Walmart, Samsung, Dr. Martens and Ray-Ban.
Select brands such as Walmart Inc., Samsung, Groupon and Bose offer up to 5x cashback on apparel, technology, home décor, entertainment and travel.

MeIn 2021, shoppers could earn an average of $18 in cash back per order, according to RetailMeNot.

To get the deal, the shopper must create a RetailMeNot account, activate the offer, and then shop normally on the retailer’s site.
According to the company, cashback rewards are sent to the shopper’s RetailMeNot account and can then be transferred to a bank account via Venmo or PayPal within 45 days.
