The BBB Institute for Marketplace Trust partners with Amazon and Capital One to enhance the BBB Scam Tracker online reporting tool to help people learn about, report, and avoid financial and personal loss of fraud doing. This new feature will make it easier for consumers to identify and report fraud, providing partners with more robust data on fraudsters to better protect consumers.

BBB Scam Tracker makes it easy for consumers to:

√ Complete a guided survey that makes reporting fraud quick and easy. Consumers can now review and edit reports before submission, and share reports with friends and family via social media and email.
√ You have the option to receive updates on the ever-evolving tactics used by scammers.
In addition, the upgraded search functionality allows consumers to search for fraud by URL, email address, phone number, etc. in the tool. BBB Scam Tracker reports are also accessible through a wide range of online searches, extending the reach of the platform and providing useful information to other users who may be seeking assistance.
