Reports that CNN has become increasingly centrist and less dogmatic were bodychecked Monday by Anderson Cooper’s sage remarks. (See video below.)
The “Anderson Cooper 360” anchor made a bitter comparison after calling for Donald Trump to end parts of the Constitution and possibly be re-elected as president.
On the show, Democratic strategist David Axelrod said Republicans blame Trump and fear potential repercussions from his base. became. Soon he’s wandering around with an onion tied to his belt. [how] Movies were pennies. ”
Cooper laughed and added: I think he just wanted to say that. ”
First, it’s funny. Second, thanks to Cooper for the “Simpsons” onion belt reference.
His comments come days after leaked company documents showed Twitter executives discussing how to handle a New York Post article about a laptop owned by President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden. Some Republicans believe the computer contained harmful information about Joe Biden and that Twitter censored reports on its platform ahead of the 2020 election.
Trump started yet another baseless tirade about having the contest stolen from him that year using the allegedly hyped disclosure.
“A massive fraud of this kind and magnitude would allow the termination of all rules, regulations and articles, even those in the Constitution,” the former president wrote online Monday.
