According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, an Amazon employee was working in the 2900 block area of Salmonbury Road around 3 p.m. Nov. 21. A delivery man stopped by to deliver a package and returned to the van to find a stranger in the driver’s seat.
The employee returned to the van through the side door, but before he could say anything, the suspect hit gas and the Amazon employee fell out of the van.
Deputies rushed to the scene, and along the way another witness called out suspicious activity on the dirt road between Phillips Road and Jackson Avenue.
The man was wearing a ski mask, and the woman was unloading an Amazon van and loading it onto a U-Haul truck.

An agent responded to the location, but the U-Haul truck had disappeared and been dumped when it arrived, leaving an empty Amazon van behind.
The suspects are described as a white man in black clothes and a face mask driving an Amazon van, and a white woman with blonde hair, black clothes and a beanie driving a U-Haul truck.
A 66-year-old Bremerton man, an Amazon employee, suffered minor injuries after being thrown from his van and was treated at the scene.
Before 5:00 p.m., lawmakers responded to an area of Lakeview Drive and Long Lake Road for an abandoned U-Haul truck. Agents found several empty Amazon tote bags around the truck. An agent determined that a U-Haul truck was stolen early in the morning from his Kitsap Way address in Bremerton.
According to his agent, the man is thin and wears a black jacket, a black baseball cap with an “R” similar to Russell Athletics, and a face mask. I have.
The woman is in her twenties, large, with blond or auburn hair, a camouflage jacket, a light beanie, and a dark face.
Renton searches for missing persons
Renton Police are currently searching for Thomas Marthak, a missing man who was last seen at 215 Whitworth Avenue S around November 19th.
Some of his neighbors and his property manager are worried because it’s reportedly unusual for him to be away from home for this long.

Renton PD said Marsac had a cat and would never leave him alone. The cat is currently kept under animal control.
Police have checked with the local hospital, but he is not there. Marsac has mobility problems and he walks with a cane. He also suffers from PTSD and depression, for which he takes medication, and it is unknown if he has them.
Marsac does not own a car and likely travels on foot.

Redmond police trying to identify robbery suspect
Redmond Police are seeking help from the public to identify suspects in the Dec. 8 robbery at the Chase Bank on Block 17600 on NE 76th Street that occurred around 10:50 a.m. .
Investigators said the suspect was a thin Caucasian male about 30 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He wore his gray Nike hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, black and white basketball shoes, a blue surgical mask, and black latex his gloves.
