TikToker bryn.elise takes advantage of it with a clever side hustle.
With over 85,000 followers, her channel consists of side hustle ideas and ways to make money.
Here’s how to make $100,000 through Amazon gigs, as she revealed in a recent video.

According to Bryn, when it comes to Amazon books, millions of books are sold through the marketplace each year.
Before you tackle this side hustle, make sure you have an Amazon seller account.
Note that it costs $39.99/month in addition to the selling fee.
However, assuming you have an account, you will need to download an app called ScoutIQ. This helps Amazon sellers make money by selling books and other items with profit potential.
“If you use this app to scan the barcode of your book, it will tell you exactly how much you can earn on Amazon,” she said.
Once Bryn scans enough books to make a good profit, he ships them to Amazon’s warehouses.
Once they arrive, Amazon takes care of the rest and she gets paid.
According to Bryn, the average profit per bottle is $25.
She also claims to earn $100,000 a year from this side business.
You can make a profit on your books by looking at old books through your local used bookstore estate sale.
Other similar side hustle
Another influencer named Steven Liken does the same, earning $17,000 a month.
But instead, I use the Amazon Seller app to scan my books instead of ScoutIQ.
“Books are insanely cheap,” Stephen said.
“Most people think they’re obsolete and trash, so they sell them for free or for a few pennies in thrift stores. They sell a lot of books for $20, $30, $40. [and] $50”
Once you’ve scanned it and found out how much it’s worth, you can create a list across the app.
Along with the price, you will need to include the condition of the item and prepare it for shipment to an Amazon fulfillment center.
You can also include images in your listing.
Another way to make money through your Amazon seller account is by shopping at Costco.
A Costco membership is also required. That’s just $60 a year, depending on the packages you want.
Combined with an Amazon seller account, teens can earn $5,000 a month by profiting from the retailer’s snack products.
