
Iran (MNN) — Iran can be associated with persecution. Naturally so. But did you know that the Lord is doing amazing things here as well?
“Iran has the fastest growing church in the world,” says CEO Rana Silk.
“This is the country God has his eyes on.”
Silk is the US-based CEO of the group formerly known as 222 Ministries. Established in 1991a group based on its name 2 Timothy 2:2“This is the poem of the disciple,” says Silk.
“We have a strong foundation of discipleship and leadership development. That’s the foundation of what we do.”
The name “222 Ministries” is noble, but it also causes confusion. “It’s hard for people to understand what it is, and it’s hard to associate it with Iran,” says Silk.
“Earlier this year, God gave us a new name. change iran – I feel this gives a better picture of what we do. “

Going forward, Transform Iran will continue what it has been doing for decades.
“We are intentionally and continuously training, equipping, and resourceing people and envisioning them doing it for others,” says Silk.

“More than 50% of Iranians do not speak Persian, the national language, at home,” says Silk.
“Iran consists of a beautiful tapestry of all kinds of ethnic minorities. Only four of these people groups have the word of God in their language. [unfoldingWord] train our team CCBT Law, we wholeheartedly agree and love. “
